1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to registering with UK CARE NEST LTD (Care Nest), Office 18, 241e High Street North, London, England, E12 6SJ. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

These terms do not form a contract of employment. Separate written terms are provided to work-seekers who are placed with us, and separate terms of business apply to care-home clients.

2. Who can register

You must be 18 or over and legally allowed to work in the UK to register as a carer or nurse. You must give accurate, complete and truthful information and upload genuine documents. Giving false information or documents may lead to removal and may be reported to the authorities.

3. Our service

• We are a recruitment and staff-supply agency. Registering does not guarantee that we will find you work, or any minimum number of shifts or hours.
• Offers of work depend on suitability, compliance checks (including right to work, references, DBS and training), availability and client needs.
• We do not charge work-seekers a fee for finding work.
• We may suspend or end your registration, for example for safeguarding concerns, failed checks or conduct that breaches our standards.

4. Using the website

• Do not misuse the site, attempt to access areas you are not authorised for, upload malicious files or submit false enquiries.
• Automated scraping or attempts to guess PINs or passwords are prohibited and are logged.
• Timesheet PINs are personal. Keep yours private and tell us if it may have been shared.

5. Care-home enquiries

Sending an enquiry does not create a contract. Staff supply is provided under our written terms of business, which set out fees, rebates and cancellation terms.

6. Our content

The Care Nest name, logo, text, design and images are owned by us or used with permission. You may view and print pages for personal use. You may not copy or reuse our content commercially without written permission.

7. Accuracy and availability

We try to keep the site accurate and available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Job details, pay rates and locations on the site are indicative and may change.

8. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breach, for business losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.

9. Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.

10. Changes and complaints

We may update these terms; the date is shown above and continued use means you accept the update. To complain, email contact@carenest.co.uk and we will respond promptly.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although consumers may also have rights to bring claims in their home nation of the UK.
