Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Care Nest wants everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.

What we have done

• All images have text alternatives or are marked decorative.
• Text and key controls are designed to meet colour-contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text).
• Everything can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators and a 'Skip to main content' link.
• The site works on phones, tablets and desktops, and text can be zoomed.
• Moving 3D and animation effects respect your device's 'reduce motion' setting.

Known limitations

• The 3D logo animation on the home page is decorative; the same information is available as text.
• The staff area includes an interactive map from a third party, which has limited screen-reader support. The same information is available in lists and tables.
• Some uploaded PDF documents supplied by third parties may not be fully accessible.
